  • ZEBEDEE, a bitcoin-only gaming technology company, partners with mobile game studio Fumb Gaming to launch “Bitcoin Miner”, a bitcoin mining simulator.
  • “Bitcoin Miner” is an idle mining simulation that pays real bitcoins for running a virtual mining facility, available on Android and IOS.
  • The game seeks to dispel many common misconceptions about bitcoin mining such as power consumption and difficult entry barriers by creating an accessible and educational platform.

“Bitcoin Miner”, an idle bitcoin mining simulator that pays in real bitcoin, is officially available on Google Play Store and App Store.

ZEBEDEE, a fintech company focused on bitcoin-only online gaming and Fumb Gaming, a UK-based mobile game studio, announced the partnership in a joint press release sent to Bitcoin Magazine. ZEBEDEE was able to change the game for “Bitcoin Miner” by activating an in-game bitcoin ecosystem that refreshes the bitcoin gaming scene.

“We originally released Bitcoin Miner about four years ago when crypto started to take off. But there wasn’t really an appetite for the game, because it wasn’t possible at the time to allow players to earn bitcoin with it,” says Paul West, founder of Fumb Games. “With ZEBEDEE, we were able to put real Bitcoin into the game, which makes the premise of Bitcoin Miner much more fun, impactful, and remarkable for gamers.”

While the world is compelled to be careful when someone mentions bitcoin due to its rising price, adoption by nation states, and use cases of a sovereign currency in times of conflict, most people are becoming aware of bitcoin as it relates to currency.

“Bitcoin is an incredible technology for human progress. We use it primarily for its utilitarian benefits, like the ability to transfer a fraction of a penny, even millions, to anyone in the world instantly and at zero cost using the Lightning Network,” says Simon Cowell, CEO of ZEBEDEE.

But what about the technological side of bitcoin and how it actually works? Does it really use energy equivalent to that of a small country?

Misconceptions about bitcoin mining are being presented as candy to kids when it comes to energy consumption. Many consider mining to be that mysterious action done in the dark places of the world where countries find themselves without a power grid because of all those greedy miners. This game seeks to educate the masses about this accessible way to participate in the bitcoin ecosystem while dispelling many of its common mistakes.

Cowell went on to explain that they “are also passionate about Bitcoin technology itself and hope that fun, easily accessible games like Bitcoin Miner will spark curiosity about Bitcoin and inspire more people of all ages and all ages. horizons to learn more and participate in the new digital economy powered by Bitcoin.

Users can also find the game in ZEBEDEE’s game app, as well as Android and IOS app stores.
