The Wizards enjoyed the tag team combination of point guard Spencer Dinwiddie and forward Kyle Kuzma. The Magic have had no offensive strengths so far, with all players limited to eight points or less.

What there is to know

The Washington Wizards return to it as they host the Orlando Magic at 7 p.m. ET on January 12 at Capital One Arena. Washington will strut after a win while Orlando will stumble after a loss.

On Tuesday, the Wizards narrowly escaped with a win as the team edged the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-118. Washington’s success was led by the efforts of power forward Kyle Kuzma, who had 29 points and five rebounds, and point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who posted a double-double with 22 points and ten cents.

Orlando is ready to catch up with those teams on Sunday. It was close but no cigar for Orlando as they fell 102-100 to Washington. One thing holding the Magic back was poor play by point guard Cole Anthony, who didn’t have his best game: he finished with 12 points on 4 shots for 17 in 35 minutes on the field.

The Wizards are the favorites in this one, with an expected margin of victory of 6.5 points. Now might not be the best time to face Washington ATS, as they’ve let the bettors down for the past four straight games.

Orlando’s loss brought them down to 7-34 while Washington’s win dropped them to 21-20. We’ll see if Orlando can steal Washington’s chance or if Washington scores another win instead.
