Valorant update 3.12 PATCH NOTES – Riot Games adds some great new features | Games | Entertainment

Valorant update 3.12 may not be the biggest patch the game has ever received, but it brings some crucial changes.

This includes the ability to set different keyboard shortcuts for each agent, which fans have long been asking for.

If you want to further customize your agents, just go to Settings & Orders. You can then create keyboard shortcuts for each agent and copy them to other profiles.

In addition to the Keybind feature, Riot Games introduced the ability to report disruptive players during the pre-game.

Not only that, but you can hover over players and add them to your friends list if you have a positive experience.

Then there’s the new friendly fire detection feature, which monitors the damage you cause to your teammates.

Do too much damage and you might even get punished by Riot Games.

Needless to say, the new update brings a slew of bug fixes and small gameplay tweaks, which you can see in the patch notes below.

This includes various progress updates, as well as character fixes and a party invite bug fix.

• We heard you loud and clear. You can now access the Settings menu and define different keyboard shortcuts for each agent!

– Go to Settings >> Controls >> Actions to get started

– Added the ability to create, delete and search hotkey profiles for each agent. You cannot create more than one profile per agent.

– Added the ability to copy your default keyboard shortcuts to a single profile or all profiles at once.

– Now when your keyboard shortcuts conflict, you can see what other items the shortcut is assigned to.

– You can undo individual changes made to the bindings in each hotkey profile. Going back will reset the keyboard shortcut to what it was when the profile was created.

• The report in Agent Select is now live!

– You can now report disruptive players during the pre-match. Just hover over the name and click REPORT.

– You can also add players to your friends list if you have a positive experience.

• Friendly fire detection

– You’d better stop blasting grenades at your teammates as we are following them and will punish excessive damage to allies!

• Large player cards

– After community feedback, we are bringing back the Wide Player maps that are displayed during loading screens and in kill banners.

• Built-in selection changes and bug fixes for Unreal Engine 4.26 and 4.27 Slate / UI

• Fixed a bug where abilities consisting of an object held in third person were not displayed correctly. You’ll notice this fix on Skye, Sage, Jett, Yoru, and Reyna.

• Fixed a bug where players could spam to invite other people to party
