Top 10 Steam Games of the Last Week by Revenue

SteamDB has updated its recipe tables, and the results came in last week.

While there are a few surprises on the list, the rest is as you’d expect from the previous week.

Results are compiled based on total revenue rather than copies sold, so a more expensive game may make the list despite selling fewer copies than a much cheaper title.

Below are the ten games with the highest earnings last week on Steam.

10. Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released on February 3 this year on Steam and is the sequel to the popular zombie survival game Dying Light.

In the second installment of the series, you play as a wanderer who, through your choices, will shape the fate of The City.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human features a vast open world, intense combat, day and night cycle, and cooperative gameplay for 2-4 players.

It currently has a mostly positive user score on Steam.

9. Valve Index VR Kit

The Valve index VR kit was sixth in the previous week’s ranking, but has now fallen to ninth position.

The package comes with VR and Half-Life: Alyx gear but is still not available in South Africa.

He has several different call options that have likely helped keep him in the top 10.

8. Cyberpunk 2077

Another title present in the previous ranking, Cyberpunk 2077, fell five places from its third place to eighth place.

Despite its rocky launch, the constant fixes the highly-anticipated title has received have resolved many of the issues players faced upon release.

Although he may have fallen to a lower position, it is still impressive to see that he has maintained a top 10 spot.

Cyberpunk currently has a mostly positive user score on Steam.

7. Legacy of Thieves 2

Rogue Legacy 2 is a Roguelite Metroidvania from Cellar Door Games that uses a unique heir system where every time you die, your child succeeds you.

The title was released on April 28 of this year, last week on Thursday, and considering its relatively low price, it must have sold very well to break into the top 10.

It currently holds a very positive user score on Steam.

6. Rise of the Monster Hunter

Another new addition to the top 10 is Monster Hunter Rise which first arrived on Steam on January 12th.

The follow-up game to the hugely successful Monster Hunter World, it will also receive a major DLC expansion called Sunbreak, which will be released on June 29.

Sunbreak can be pre-purchased, which likely contributed to its sixth position on the earnings charts.

Monster Hunter Rise currently holds a very positive user score on Steam.

5. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice occupies the fifth position in the top 10 and is another FromSoftware game.

It was originally released in March 2019 and won Game of the Year in addition to the many high scores it received from critics.

However, its presence in the top 10 list is likely due to the ongoing 50% off sale, which started last week and will last until May 9.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a very positive user score on Steam.

4. Stanley’s Parable: Ultra Deluxe

The Stanley Parable was first released in 2013 to huge acclaim and praise thanks to its unique story, setting and humor.

3. Dune: The Spice Wars

After the success of the last Dune movie, it’s no surprise to see Dune: Spice Wars on this list.

The strategy game sees players take control of one of four warring factions and compete to control the planet through economics, politics, and military might.

Dune: Spice Wars was released in early access last week on April 26 and has a very positive user score on Steam.

2. Elden Ring

Elden Ring continues its prolific series of successes and retains its second place from the previous week.

FromSoftware’s latest hit game, Elden Ring, was the most anticipated game of 2022. Its release in February cemented its position as one of the best games released in recent years.

Given its continued success and the potential for DLC content in the future, it’s entirely possible that Elden Ring will be on this list for some time to come.

Elden Ring has a very positive user score on Steam.

1. Steam Bridge

The top spot on this list is, again, not a game, as the Steam Deck retained its top spot from the previous week.
