NFL Week 8 coverage map: TV show for CBS and Fox regional shows

0

Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season won’t be as affected by the weeks off as the league was in week 7. Six teams were out of action in week 7. In week 8 , only two teams – the Raiders and the Ravens – will be. have a week off. This means that there will be a list of 12 games on Sunday afternoon. The previous two weeks there had only been 10 games.

The increase in the number of games also means that we will see a more normal looking NFL slate. On Sunday afternoon, there will be eight games starting at 1 p.m. ET. Then there will be four games that will start in the afternoon window between 4:05 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. ET.

For another week, CBS and Fox split the presentation of the games right in the middle. CBS will broadcast six and Fox will broadcast six as well. This week, Fox will get the main dual show while CBS will only air one game in each regional market.

Fox’s early-game coverage features seven NFC teams and a single AFC team. The Rams are the best team playing in this window, but they face the Texans, so while they may be the default game for some areas, it seems more likely that Fox will split coverage evenly between their four games.

In the late window, however, the Buccaneers at Saints game will be the big draw and will be seen by most of the country.

As for CBS, they will have an intriguing game featuring the Steelers and Browns, who represent the best draw on their slate. Two other top AFC teams, the Bills and Bengals, will also be in action early on the roster. However, they face the Dolphins and Jets respectively, so their home crowd could be mostly regional given that these two teams aren’t very good.
