Celtics vs Warriors Game 3: Top NBA Finals Prop Odds & Picks for Wednesday, June 8 (2022)
The highly anticipated Game 3 of the NBA Finals kicks off tonight, Wednesday, June 8, at 9 p.m. ET. The Celtics and Warriors are tied in the series, but with the Celtics at home for the next two games, Boston is currently the favorite to win the NBA championship. at DraftKings.
In this article, I will not predict the winner of tonight’s game. Instead, I’ll be picking up some player props to tackle for tonight’s game. Here are my three favorite gamer accessories for tonight’s game.
Celtics vs. Warriors: Jayson Tatum Over 3.5 three-pointers
Jayson Tatum took nine threes in Game 2 and nailed six. That was basically the only bright spot for Tatum in Game 2 after finishing with a worst -36 in the game. He’s going to have to adjust his game, and the Celtics are going to have to find ways to involve Tatum more without forcing the issue.
The Celtics need Tatum’s Game A if they want to win the NBA Finals. They’re going to find ways to get it open, and when it’s open from downtown, it’s been money all playoffs.
In the Eastern Conference Finals, Tatum made 7.3 attempts per game from downtown, and now he’s averaging seven threes over the first two games of the NBA Finals. The volume will be there. It’s just to make it look better.
Bet: Jayson Tatum Over 3.5 three-pointers (+110 via FanDuel)
Celtics vs. Warriors: Grant Williams Over 5.5 points
The Celtics are the deepest team in the NBA. You can thank guys like Grant Williams. He averaged 7.8 points per game during the regular season and had a couple of big playoff games where he rose to prominence.
In the first two games of the NBA Finals, Williams was an absolute non-factor. He wastes his energy defending Draymond Green.
But the reality is the ball is going to find the hoop as long as Williams stays 20 minutes or more in this game. In Game 7 against Miami, Williams played 30 minutes and scored 11 points with six rebounds. He’s been off the minutes lately with Derrick White getting extended time, but Williams could hit just two threes in tonight’s game and end up winning that bet.
Bet: Grant Williams Over 5.5 points (-130 via FanDuel)
Celtics vs. Warriors: Klay Thompson Over 18.5 points
Klay Thompson wasn’t very good at starting the NBA Finals. In the NBA Finals, Thompson went 4 for 15 from downtown and 10 for 33 from the field.
However, the volume is there for Thompson, and we clearly know what he is capable of. To close out Dallas, Thompson added 32 points on 16 three-point attempts. He averaged over 35 minutes per game against Dallas and added 32 minutes per game against the Celtics in the NBA Finals.
I love that Thompson finally gets things figured out offensively tonight. The Warriors need Thompson to wake up if they’re going to win a road game or two.
Bet: Klay Thompson Over 18.5 points (-118 via FanDuel)
